Level 3 International Freight Forwarding Specialist Apprenticeship Diploma

Real-world freight forwarding & supply chain skills for your employees start here.

Why choose this supply chain apprenticeship?

The standard for this apprenticeship has been specifically created by business leaders, for businesses. It is designed to enable your supply chain and customs employees to gain an understanding of the increasingly complex international trade documentation that is now even more vital to the UK economy.

What will they learn?

They will learn how to ensure that your company and your clients remain compliant with existing and the new import and export laws and regulations and procedures.

Topics include customs rules, regulations, terms of trade, customs procedures, classification of goods, allocating modes of transport and all relevant paper and electronic documentation, dealing with stakeholders (shipment bookings, liaising with carriers, ports and handling agents), understanding transport requirements, producing sales quotations and invoicing.

Learners will also have an opportunity to focus on one specialist pathway (Land, Sea or Air Freight), depending on your business needs.

The qualification is also a useful step for those considering progression within your business and who you may eventually consider suitable for our Supply Chain Degree apprenticeship.
