Great Supply Chain Collaboration

by | Jul 16, 2018

The Supply Chain Academy were delighted to collaborate with the Institute of Directors (IoD) recently at our combined ‘Impact of Supply Chain Disruption’ event. This successful event enabled the exchanging of thought-provoking concepts, questions and ideas on effective supply chain management.

In recent years, supply chains have become longer and more complex, while the severity and frequency of supply chain disruption seems to be increasing. As the UK leaves the EU, we need to consider this important subject more than ever.

Supply Chain disruption negatively affects the supply of materials or stock,  the continuity of service to your customers, your reputation and more importantly – the bottom line.

This sold-out event was attended by leading directors from across London, Hertfordshire and Essex, each of whom hoped to learn some practical tips on what to avoid when managing their supply chains.

Alex Mortimer (Director, SCA) introduced the Academy & Neil Roll (GM of the Supply Chain Academy) alongside Denise Pieri (SCA Faculty member) presented on how companies can take proactive, actionable steps to add significant resilience to their supply chain operation.

The Supply Chain Academy is the only worldwide learning centre that focuses solely on the supply chain, offering high-level insight and tuition for executives through exceptional facilities.

Be sure you don’t miss out on our next event, our Supply Chain Directors Dinner on 17th September and you should consider attending both our ‘Creating Competitive Advantage’and ‘Accelerate Innovation with Supply Chain Technology’programmes.
