Personal Data

Personal data is specific information about personal or factual characteristics relating to an individual who can be identified from that data. This includes information such as your real name, address, telephone number and date of birth.

Collection and Processing of Personal Data

The Group is committed to protecting the privacy of users of our websites and services. When you visit our web pages, our web servers record IP address, connection data, pages you visit when visiting our site and operation system used to access our site. We will collect additional personal information such as:  your name; address; telephone number;  e-mail address; your requirements of the service you request.

Certain areas of the Group’s websites including, but not limited to CP Training, Supply Chain Academy require registration or a password for access. Information obtained from users of these areas may also be used for the Group’s marketing purposes within the limits of national law. The Group provides a right of access and rectification of personal data under the applicable legislation, please refer to Right to Information below.

Your information may be passed on to our contractors, subcontractors or to the authorities of the country where it is bound by law. We will pass on information in relation to the Course details or any other business you have requested. We will usually only pass on the following information: Individuals name and address, receiver name and address if applicable, description of the goods and any other details as necessary.

Passing on Personal Data

We use the personal data which you have provided us with to carry out your requests and requirements for the basis of completion of contract. We track web usages to improve and identify the services we can offer and provide to you, ensuring our web and email content is relevant and useful to you.

We will send you marketing information if you have consented by providing us with consent or if we have a legitimate interest to do so such as current businesses we work with.

The Group does not sell, transfer or share or disclose your data and will not do so in future, as we are committed to protecting your data. We will disclose, however if required by law, or for the purpose of the contract we hold with you, unless you have given the Group express consent to do so. It may be required to pass on your personal data such as your name and address and order details to our contractors or other services when you use or upon request.

The data that the Group collects from you may be transferred to, or stored or processed at a destination within or outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”) by ourselves or one of our suppliers in accordance with applicable laws on data protection.  It may be necessary as a business to do conduct the transfer of data. Processing may include, among other things, the fulfilment of your order, the processing of your payment details and the provision of support services. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing.

The Group would like to contact you and keep in touch to provide you with offers and updates to company information, news, products and its services. If you contact or register with the Groupon on our web pages, we will request that you indicate whether or not you would like to receive direct marketing material from us. If we currently hold your information or you are already a customer we will continue to send you the necessary information in connection with your existing contracts and current interests.

Use of Web Tracking

The Group uses web tracking software to determine our website usage, how many visitors and how often without collecting personal data or IP addresses. The data that is used is anonymous and summarised for statistical purposes and for developing the website.

How does the Group protect data?

The Group takes the security of your data seriously. The Group has internal policies and controls in place to try to ensure that your data is not lost, accidentally destroyed, misused or disclosed, and is not accessed except by its employees in the performance of their duties.

Where the Group engages third parties to process personal data on its behalf, they do so on the basis of written instructions, are under a duty of confidentiality and are obliged to implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure the security of data. Your data is saved in a secure operating environment which is not accessible to the public.

Right to Information

As a data subject, you have a number of rights. You can:

  • access and obtain a copy of your data on request
  • require the Group to change incorrect or incomplete data
  • require the Group to delete or stop processing your data, for example where the data is no longer necessary for the purposes of processing; and
  • object to the processing of your data where the Group is relying on its legitimate interests as the legal ground for processing.

For how long does the Group keep data?

We will retain your personal information for the period necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

The Group reserves the right to change or update its data protection statement at any time with or without notice. We regularly review and update our data protection statement.
